Our Journey
Our Story
Mission Madat was founded in 2023 by Jasmeh Kaur Dang, Alina Sachdev, and Arnav Nair, three passionate students who recognized the growing prevalence of eating disorders among their peers. Their journey began after witnessing close friends struggle with body image and disordered eating, often in silence due to stigma and lack of accessible resources.
Motivated by personal experiences and a desire to make a difference, they created Mission Madat as a comprehensive support system that combines technology with compassionate care. The name "Madat," meaning "help" in Hindi, reflects their commitment to providing culturally sensitive support to a diverse population.
What started as a school project has grown into a platform dedicated to early detection, education, and community-building around eating disorders. Today, Mission Madat continues to evolve, driven by the belief that everyone deserves a healthy relationship with food and their body.
